CUB's 3200 vs. KIOTI???

hello all --New guy here, great site!!!! I am in the process of buying a tractor for my landscape bizz. and I'm up in the air with cost/quialty/attachments with the two tractors----CUB's new 3200 and the KIOTI's have dealers within the 30-40 miles from me and was wonder what the big diff. between the two and was size Kioti would be compared to the 3200? I know you guys can help and thank you in advance

My guess is either the CK35 or the DK35.
This issue others here have had, based on other threads I have read, is CUB's long term commitment, they have been in and out of the market numerous times. If they go out again... what will you do for parts?

I think the CK 30 or CK 35 would be the closest comparison to the 3200 Cub/Yanmar.

In my past experience of selling to landscapers I would recommend the DK35se hydro...
It comes standard with some features that you may think you don't need now but as your business progress you will have more virisitallity.
1. Has a higher lifting capacity for loading the larger dump trucks
2. comes standard with quick tach bucket easy to change out pallet forks or grapples.
3. aux remotes for running hydraulic feed chippers or hydraulic top link.
And the best for last! 4 YEAR WARRANTY FOR COMMERCIAL USERS!

I'm sure you can get the first 3 with the Cub but at what cost?

I bought a 2008 Kioti dk40se last month,very well built IMHO.I went with my farming buddy to a case/cub dealer last week and looked at the cub 3200ex,I thought the Kioti DK35 looked more heavy duty verses the cub 3200ex.Ask your local dealers if they can bring the two tractors to your house and test drive them both.As stated above by Wallace tractor the Kioti has a 4 year Warranty,pretty impressive IMHO.coobie

Welcome,The best advice I can give you is find what size fits your application needs.Are you planting,walkways,walls,installing lawns?If the ck chassis fits your needs and you would like a Q/A you can get a woods lr-102 loader.Your also increase loader capacity.I sent you a pm if you wish to talk further.I have a long history in the landscape industry.I will tell you this forum is the best place for information!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We sell both.....the ex3200 is a hydro and weighs less than a CK30. Loader capacity is less. Street price falls between a CK30 shuttle and a CK30 HST. Physical size is slightly smaller on Cub.
Both are high quality tractors.

For landscape work ,in this area at least, smaller hydros are more nimble and can outwork a larger shuttle shift tractor. As mentioned, depends on what you need.......lotta loader work or more prep and box work ,etc.

I can only speak about my experience, which may not reflect others experiences. I used to own a cub (pre yanmar cub), and had lots of issues with it. I now own a DK45, which I have no issues with yet.

The cub was a complete PITA, as I had nothing but one issue after another, and it was in the shop continuosly. I developed a good relationship with the service manager at the dealership.

Yanmar has been in this game for awhile, and I do not believe that they will let Cub sully their good name. I initally looked at the cub/yan brand as a step up, but went with Kioti due to price/size/power etc.

Just one persons opinion, which only reflects the one cub tractor and may not be reflective of the new cubs or their other cubs.
