Looking for advice on a good 3 point cultipacker to purchase. Thinking of making my own too, as I Tig/mig weld and do some machining at work. Looks like the local Agri has the parts to build one, just looking for a design to replicate if I end up going that route. Thanks!

Not exactly what you are looking for, but this is pretty cool.

I bought a pull type roller pretty cheap that was made from a 12" steel tube filled with concrete and a 1" solid round shaft fyll length through the center of it. It was attached to the frame with self aligning pillow bock bearings. They had welded on globs of steel for traction. It is heaaavy. I have also seen similar designs built with concrete filled corrugated plastic culvert.

I think my dream would be a tandem cultimuncher (like the first part of the video above) in front, and a culvertpacker in the back.

I would prefer a 1" solid shaft with pillow block bearings, but this gives you an idea.

That thing is sweet! I need to see it in action. I thought about doing the culvert pipe thing with pillow blocks.

Holy $h*T you done better than Billy the Kid and Frank n Jesse ! Awesome fined for your size tractor !
Talked to the old feller selling it for a while... he used it to put golf courses in down here in NC (I'm sure he got his money out of it!!!). He had plenty of stories about each course he built... He also had all sorts of cool "junk" that I would have love to played with... Yes, I was lucky on this Craig's list buy err... Steal!!!
