Cultivator sweeps and weight box.

How can anyone function without a welder?
I was thinking of driving an hour to TS to buy sweeps, but these larger cultivator sweeps angle the wrong direction.(according to me) I need them to get after the weeds. So I made my own with a small piece of angle welded to the tip. These tip are all business when it comes to weeds.
And lastly I welded some better alignment guides. My guides get close and kiss the spring steel. Not like the guides that come on it, which are a 1/4 inch away so the guides allow the tip swing from New York to Detroit.

Oh, and 2 cinder blocks are just the right amount of weight.

Agreed, anyone with a tractor is at some point going to want to fabricate or alter an implement for their needs not to mention repairs that will always be an issue. Good Job. Gene

I can't seem to much without pulling out the welder.
Even when I went to install the top hitch pin, the hole was too large, pulled out the welder and made the pin's head larger as not to slide through the hole.
It took 2 minutes. Otherwise, I would have had to drive to the store and buy a larger pin, if I could even find one.
