Hey Lloyd I changed my mind on the Kioti and just purchased a Kubota L4240 Grand Cab. Now I only got two cup holders :( but it got a horn and rear defrost on the 3 rear windows :D I'll have it mid week

Lets see some pics of the new ad ons!

Oh no... a defector....

Why the change? Better price? I am curious. I didn't look at kubota - thought they were over-priced, but JD had a special in the spring that came close. JD didn't offer a factory cab or shuttle shift but did offer more HP and higher ground clearance. They also had some better pricing on implements but averaged out a little above what Kioti dealer was offering.

2nd attempt to add cup holder photos...

The only other place to add another cup holder would be on the windshield...

4shorts,

Will take photos of add ons in the morning. I need to finish addition tomorrow(last day of vacation) and clean area. Will be removing BH Saturday morning and hooking up rotary mower. Need to mow fields and start round pin . Oh boy, another photo/project op!

Lloyd

PS: good luck with the Kubota purchase... from a distance they look the same and in a blinding snow storm too!!!! :)

Looks great Lloyd. Good location and you'll find it handy for sure. As for my Kubota purchase. In the next few days I'll post a detailed post on why I defected ;) I'll look forward to seeing more pics. Nice add on's

4shorts,

A few pics of building plus the implements:

Not all the implements will fit.

Mowed field for the first time using the new mower. Worked great - loved the AC!!!

The mower manual does not give a rated engine RPM for the PTO 540. The PTO shaft a a decal indicating bot to exceed 1100 RPM. I assume this is for the shaft rotation. I found 1800 RPM - engine speed - worked fine. Hay was, on average, 20" high. Any feed back would be great

Pic 17 shows a slight problem - tight squeeze for the tractor.

Holy smoke Lloyd that's alot of stuff you bought with your tractor. Would almost need a place twice the size to store it all. The tractor sure looks great there in the field as well. Your busy by the looks of it with some new construction. Your weather there is better than ours as well by the looks of it. Hey what's the white line going through the #17 pic? Nice setup and great pics.
