Has anyone put a cup holder on their tractor ? Might be useful while mowing grass. I don't have one on my garden tractor but it is hydro so one hand is free, not quite so with a shuttle shift.

Thanks, Cleat

My wife bought me a magnetic mount cup holder for my B-7800. I think she got it from Lillian Vernon catalog. Works great, sits right on the hood and doesn't move. Think it was about $6.

I put one of those marine style ones that fold in to a 3"x3"x1/2" thick on the left fender beside me. Does the trick for basic sized cups or cans. You can get them anywhere for not much, Princess auto, Canadian tire etc. The right side was a little busy with the 3pt and remotes levers. Don't have a pic at tthe moment.

First mod for my lawn mower and both my tractors. Where you going to keep that extra beer if you dont have a cup holder?

Get them at Walmart in the marine section. It has a swivel so you don't spill a drop.

Cup holders are standard equipment on the JD 2000 series. Unfortunately, my lawn is so rough, it shakes up the beer. (**** moles!!!)

Pick up some drop in cup holders from a Kubota tractor dealer.

Make a template with peel & stick paper, position them to be symmetrical in the tractor and to each other.

Place the "negative" of the peel & stick template to protect the finish while cutting.

Cut out with a jig saw:

Drop in the drop in cup holders:

Enjoy refreshments:

That last post was a great idea with the cutouts, I never thought of that but might consider it with my foton for water and coffee! I did bolt a cheap walmart beer holde... uh I mean cup holder on the right fender for coffee yeh that's it. The scotch bottle doesn't work down by my feet as it is too bumpy.. HAHA just kidding. Thanks for the info!

I strapped a 2-cup, adjustable holder to the lines on top of the transmission, just to the left of the front hi/lo shifter. Works great, and out of the way. I have learned, however, not to put anything there until I have driven around a bit, as the steering column drains a bit of nastiness there if it has rained recently...:licking:
