Current 3038 Tier 4 Interim or Tier 3?

Does anyone know if the LS 3038 (Currently being sold MARCH/APRIL 2015) is Tier 4 Interim or Tier 3? The literature states Tier 4 Interim but I've also read some stating Tier 3? What is the difference. Is it just the EGR?

The G3038H has the L3AL tier 4 interim motor. I doubt you'll find a 3038 tier 3 unless it's been on the lot a few years. Nothing wrong with tier 4 interim. Less pollution controls than tier 4. My 3037 is the full tier 4 final. It has a turbo and DPF filter and Shibaura engine. I believe all the tier 4 interims had Mitsubishi engines. Both are excellent engines.
