Custom console for 3X20 Tractors and Upgrades

Here are some pictures of the switches I put in and some of the upgrade on my John Deere 3120 So Enjoy. If you have any qustion just ask I am short on time.

In the pictures you will see is what my tractor looks like after the modes.In did not get time to put the front fenders back on and I will be post more picture when I put on the beacon,grill strobes and 2 more work lights.I have enclosed some picture of my trailer lights plug and the console I customized.As I said before I have only a half hour to put the stuff on the computer so I will reply to all your questions. Oh you know I would have questions.

1. Can you take a pick of the mounting holes/new switches?
2. What part number did you use for the switches
3. Where do the leads going to the distribution box come from?
4. In the distro box Do you have the fuses on the right wired to the left?
5. Are you using a relay anywhere?
6. Where did you buy your distro box?
7. What gauge wire are you using to the distro box and from the box?


BTW - I like the idea of the distro box very much.

Great looking rig, all those switches have me confused but you did a great job getting them mounted, looking forward to seeing it with all the rest of the gear mounted. I have a 3320 and need more working lights as well

Ok here how it is setup for bloomingtonmike:
1. You have 3 cut outs under the console so take you pick it may very due to you styling.
2.I just ask my part Guy to find me the switch that goes into the cab tractor because are weather proof.
3.There is a 6 Ga. power wire coming from the battery to the Distribution/fuse box.allyou have to do is put a fuse and connect the wire to it for your switch no sweat.
4.The wires you see are right I tested them with test light to make sure they have power to them.
5.I did not put in relays.I have ran this setup on my 2210 for 3 years and as far as I know they have never had a problem.There are 20 amp fuses and I have had no problem with it.
6.I bought my distribution/fuse box at the local NAPA for $35.00 and you can plug in 10 item to it.
7.I used a heavy duty 6 ga. prim. wires.

If you look at the last switch by my cruise control upgrade that is for my trailer running light.The 3 light switches I cut and put in looking from left to the right siting on the tractor it setup like this strobes, beacon, work lights.

6 Ga wire should be great! The switches I have are rated at 20A so I don't see needing a relay for most applications.
