"Do those headphones cut out all outside noise??"
NO! They simply reduce the outside noise level. They have a noise reduction rating (NRR) of 25 decibels. I would assume that you would be unable to hear noises which are softer than 25 decibels but you can certainly hear about anything you need to hear when operating your tractor.
I can, for example, still hear the difference of my box blade making contact with high spots in my drive or not. I can hear my mower lug down when I hit an especially heavy spot of growth. Sadly, I can also tell you from personal experience that I can hear my blades hitting a stone or root and can even recall the 'whoomp' sound when my flannel shirt fell off my tractor and went under the mower. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
I would highly recommend them. I now use them for not only tractoring but with a lot of power equipment as well. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
