Oil & Fuel Cut a rubber hose-need help finding where it goes

I have a Kioti DS 4510 HST- loving it except that you can't use the radiator fan blades as a wood chipper ( backing up in the bush, rear tire went over the end of a stick, it rose up into the lower radiator). Replacing the blade yesterday, I saw a cut rubber line, it comes from the top of the front axle, left side, runs between motor and rad to the right side of tractor and back about 12 inches but it doesn't seem to be attached to any thing except ty-wrapped to other lines. It could just be a breather for the front axle but maybe its supposed to be attched, if someone could look on their tractor and let me know where it goes, I'd really appreciate it.:thumbsup:

I have the same hose on my CK30. An open ended breather for the front axle housing.

My CK30hst has the same hose as Highbeam's and probably is what you're looking at. It's a 5/16" hose that is just rubbber and not a cord reinforced type. If you were ever worried about water getting into the hose, even though it's near the engine, just bend a few inches of the end over and face it downward but keeping it in the engine compartment. Hopefully someone with a DS4510hst will be able to comment.
