Do keep in mind that the farther the wheels are from the axle castings, the more strain the castings take. Just an FYI.

Good point, but I think as long as he isn't doing jumps with it, or pulling hard on rough ground for hours at a time, its probably fine.
I've seen the abuse of a field tractor has to take when rain is coming and this last junky hay field needs to be baled!
