Giving serious thought to replacing my JD 4110 (2005, owned since new) with a CX2510. I'm looking for better ergonomics, better comfort, etc. More power/performance is not a consideration. I was leaning towards the JD 2025R until I found out that the CX2510 cab has AC (2025R cab only has heating). I live 50 miles south of Houston, about 10 miles from the coast, so I get lots of heat, humidity, and mosquitos).
Since the 2025R cab isn't AC'ed, I was not going to get it with a cab. I'm curious about a few things on the CX2510 cab...

Since the 2025R cab isn't AC'ed, I was not going to get it with a cab. I'm curious about a few things on the CX2510 cab...
- When the temp and humidity are both in the upper nineties, how well does the AC work? Can it keep the cab in the upper 70's temp range if the doors aren't opened a lot?
- There are maybe six months out of the year where heat and humidity are not an issue. Having never owned a tractor with a cab, I'm not sure if I want to be in a fully enclosed cab on a "nice day". I understand that the back window can be opened. Can the doors be removed? If so, how difficult is it to remove them?
- For the same reasons as (2), can the cab be removed by one person?
