I just posted this in another forum of this site but I have always posted here due to my JD tractor so I ask...
locally I can pick up eithr a DR power push vac or a Cyclone rake. Both are used aprox 4 yrs old and in VGC. DR is 11hp. and cyclone is 6hp (classic model) I have tested both it seems the cyclone has better suction. Does anyone have an opinion? I can get cyclone for 400.00 and dr for 550.00. of coures the compairson is a bit askew. The Dr vac only has the flange sucker on the machine and I was compairing with the cyclone 's estate hose whitch has a smaller diameter and greater suction. I would have to get the hose attachment for the DR as I want either mainly for plucking leaves from hedges and a ditch line.
