Cyclone rake XL

Have had a Cyclone Rake for about 5-6 years now, works great. Its the middle sized unit, same as todays XL I believe. Tow it behind a Toro commercial ZTR. It is a quality unit, they don't cheap-out or take shortcuts in quality. It does make some noise, but I always use ear (and eye) protection when operating it. You have to watch out when making turns, the unit does not articulate, and its easy to bump into fences and stuff if you don't watch what you're doing. I use the 7" heavy duty hose, but still have to watch my speed when doing leaves or grass, or it will clog where the hose attaches to the mower deck. Sticks will clog it up too. I know when I'm full, the whole unit starts to feel heavy. Overall, its a super piece of equipment and saves me a BUNCH of labor.

Bought the Cyclone Rake Commander model in early September. Have usd it several times this season. Does a great job. I opted for the jack stand and the dual wheel casters since I have some soft areas in my yard. I do have to "assist" the load when dumping it so that I don't spread the load too far but It sure is easier than walking around with a blower and hauling a tarp full of leaves.

Count me as another satisfied Cyclone Rake owner. Contemplated getting one for years. Bought an XL this past spring. Tried it out on all the leftover leaves from last year and long spring grass. Super! Getting the leaves this year is actually enjoyable. Works just as shown in their videos. Great company to deal with. Trailer gets heavy when full. Glad I purchased the double wheel option. Long pickup hose works good too. I have the wife drive the lawn tractor while I go along and suck the leaves up with the hose.
