D series Toolcat Laser Grader?

Someone told me that a toolcat cannot run a box blade or grader with a laser, but my 12 year old 753 might be able too, what do you guys think?

Both are listed as approved on the Bobcat website and are in the brochures. I would like to try the box blade for use on gravel driveways.

Box blade is much cheaper than a grader, but how do you crown a road with a box blade?

I wouldn't get a crown with the box blade. I currently use a 3pt blade which doesn't really crown either. It's not a big problem with my driveways and works better for clearing snow with the bucket and blower.

I can't justify the cost of the grader for the 30 minutes it takes me to dress the driveways a few times a year and have used box blades on tractors in the past with good success.

Panther, there IS a box blade that Bobcat has out that works on the Toolcat. It is P/N 6906574. There is also a box scraper, P/N 6958483 that will work on your machine as well. As far as the laser use, I don't see the point for a driveway. It's over 10K for a transmitter, receiver and harnesses. Plus, the Toolcat is not wired like the skidloaders and it will not run the blade with a laser attached as the Toolcat has no BICS on it.

The box scraper works GREAT on the Toolcat. It has a cutter edge on the rear that swings away when going forward but cuts when backing up. Mount it on a Tilt-Tach and you can crown your drive very nicely.
