D1105-T water pump

I'm new here and am searching for a water pump for my D1105-T engine. I got the engine from a Toro ride on mower without the water pump. I have found out there are two different size water pumps for the D1105 series. Not the impeller size but the pump housing size. Anyone know where I can find the "smaller" size pump?
I've been working on this for 2 days. I know the 16241-73034 and 16251-73034 water pumps don't work and the bolt hole spacing is too large by 1/16"-1/8" and the impeller hits the back of the housing. Through my research there was a change at engine serial number D1105-t-1W0006 to use the larger (current) water pumps. My engine is a 1U26XX serial number, so smaller water pump. A change in the 2001 year.
The catch is the engine is not the original mower engine so the Toro serial number doesn't do me any good. I've been on the phone with Toro and a bunch of dealers using the engine serial number and have been striking out. I have an email into Kubota but not holding my breath.

The original engine was a Kubota engine specially built for Toro and has some specific parts available only through Toro.
If the replacement engine is not a Toro spec engine it may be a Kubota equipment-specific engine, the parts are available only from a Kubota equipment dealer.
The engine probably is a Kubota Industrial Engine and parts are available only through a Kubota Industrial Dealer, not many Equipment dealers are also Industrial dealers.
Kubota builds specially equipped engines for several companies to their specs that are proprietary to that company and they own them. Some companies use Kubota-owned Kubota engines serviced by a Kubota Industrial Dealer.
There could be several water pumps for any one model of engine.
