That is what I did when I bought my B26. It was east of Lake Charles La so about 600 miles from me. I went online, found a new 20 foot trailer with dual 6K axles and brakes on both axles in Conroe Texas not far from my daughters house. Dealer delivered it to my daughters house for free and when I came in from my overseas job, I just drove down spent the night with my daughter, got up early, hooked to the trailer and was in Lake Charles by 8:30 in the morning. Got the paperwork done, payment done and was on the road before noon. I took the opportunity to visit my two sisters in North Louisiana on the way back to Bismarck. The Trailer cost me $2500 (I got a good deal on it I think)and a 1200 mile trip but I also got a good deal on the tractor so it was worth the effort. I now have trailer that I can haul my LS on also if needed AND I got to visit with my sisters so it was a WIN<WIN. You could do the same thing and you wouldn't need such a large trailer unless you really wanted a heavy duty one.I am registered with Uship as a transporter. I pretty much will stay home I I can't get a dollar a mile after Uship fees. You will find others that will basically haul for gas money maybe to get home. A B7200 with FEL is not a big tractor. A tandem axle 16 foot utility trailer should suffice nicely. I hauled my B3200 on such a trailer with no brakes on the trailer. You will be less that 5,000 lbs unless he has implements to add to the list. Drive to FL, buy a local trailer off Craigs List and take it home. You will most likely want a trailer anyway. Just a thought. Been hauling my 7510 since 2007.
