Daddy\'s Pride and Joy

It's taken me awhile to get around to posting this. I'm sure you can all understand that I'm suffering from sleep deprivation. Kaylie Cheyenne was born Easter day and was 5 lbs. 10 oz., 17 3/4" She was a month early, but everything's healthy. We're finally getting over the colic stage.

BTW: Her middle name comes from my old Chevy pickup.

If I remember correctly sleep loss just becomes a way of life for about 1 year.

Congradulations on her being so healthy after an early start. My granddaughter who's going to be a junior this year at OU was an early starter. She's finer'n a froghair split three ways.

Sometimes one of us out of the blue will call the other and make my week shine. She's healthy and a happier'n a pup with two tails on a sunny morning. Your daughter's picture makes me think of her.

I can relate to the vehicle monicker. My son was named after the jeep after we couldn't agree on his name. She had one more Harvey in her life than she could hardly stand and I didn't want to name a kid one of the then current fad names. So I suggested naming him after the jeep. She liked CJ too. So Christopher John made a decent "CJ". It took.

Enjoy each moment. Before you can blink you'll be in the waiting room sweating bullets over her having an easy birth of your grandchild.

I know.

And it ain't a bad thing.

Babies of each gender are my downfall, love them all. Girls up to the teenager years can get anything from me they want, a real softie

Congratulations!!! I'm glad that everyone is doing well.

It has been quite a while since we experienced those joys. But our first grandchild is due in October..... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Congratulations.

My "little girl" was born on Easter Sunday too, 4/11/1993. This was the first year that her birthday fell on Easter again. A lady at our church found a web site that listed the dates of Easter from 1875 to 2124 and the next time that Easter falls on 4/11 is in 2066.

A special birthday for a special girl, enjoy her and I pray you'll both be there for her first Easter Birthday Party.
