Dad's Old Tractor

Hello. New to this forum. Working on my father's "Blue Nose". Needs a lot of care and work but I want to actually use it again on his land. I remember him working with it as a kid. He had worked it so hard that he lost the foot panels. All that were left were the pegs. He rode it like a motorcycle. Stumps were his favorite because the front wheels were always in the air.

Right now I'm not running it because the hydraulic system is not working and I don't want to screw it up any more than it already is. So I am assemblying parts to go at it hammer and thongs when I got everything in place.

The engine was rebuilt not too long before the ole man died in 2005 by a Ford dealer, not to worried about that.

Any help or encouragement will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome, Kohno. Is your father's old "Blue Nose" tractor from Nova Scotia or is that a brand name? Got any pictures? The gang here loves pictures. They just die for pictures. Well, you came to the right place for rebuilding anything, especially tractors. There are lots of people who are very knowledgeable and will help you when you have questions or can't find parts.
