So does any one have one?? how do ya like it?? Even better, does anyone have the crosman and daisy? How does the daisy compare to the crosman?? So bring on the comments, want to make a wise purchase..

Thanks guys~~snapper

Heres a site that will answer some of your questions.

Type in Daisy or Crossman in the search feature. You might check out the Chinese made B-18, break barrel pellet rifle they offer. These are a decent quality gun, my son-in-law has one in .22 caliber that he uses for small game and pest control. It is very accurate and he really likes the gun.

Snapper,
I can't comment on the Daisy but I do have a Crosman 760. I used it for chipmunk extermination. I needed 8 -10 pumps to really be effective. The chpmunks figured this out. I would bring it out pumped and get one shot. Then when I started pumping for the next shot the chipmunks would all start making that chipping noise to warn each other. If I could translate I am sure they were saying " Lookout that Ahole with the gun is out"

So I just got a Gamo Multi shot pellet rifle from Cabelas. It has a small cartridge that holds 8 pellets. It is very powerful and deadly. It is much more like a small firearm while my Crosman is more of a toy. A single cock of the barrel stokes the piston and loads a pellet. Now I stand a much better chance against the chippies.

Like Dozernut said, these are great guns. I've had one for 4 years now: .17 cal., one shot, break open. Many a squirrel has felt it's wrath.....

Buy a "Supermax 1000". These are chinese $120.00 copies of a $350.00 RWS Model 48 and are getting great reviews. They shoot a pellet at about 1000 fps and are extremely accurate. I get a 5/8" group at 30 yards with mine. They're a side-lever cocking spring rifle. You can find them on the web at "Funhouse".

For those that like to backyard hunt, they're deadly on rabbits, squirrels, birds etc. I use mine to hone my shooting skills during the off season as the weight and size is comparable to a standard center-fire rifle. The same hand-eye coordination holds true with a magnum air pellet rifle.

Sorry for my confusion, the website for the "Supermax 1000" isn't "funhouse.

Below is the web address for fun supply:
www.funsupply.com/airguns/b21tune.html - 22k

This site also gives tips for maintenance and "hotrodding" your pellet rifle.

I have a Sheridan 17 cal that I have had for quite awhile. But, you have to pump the thing to the desired power.

What I use for those darling little chipmonks is my Marlin Youth .22 and I use CBee 22 for the ammo.

It is quieter that the pellet gun.

I'll second that. My Daisy hasn't been out of the closet since I found subsonic 22 ammo.
