Danfoss steering unit leaks when stop MF 50hx

Hi

Bit of a weird one. The Danfoss steering unit on MF 50hx digger doesn’t leak while digger running but minute I stop it, it starts to leak out of shaft that goes up to steering wheel. The o ring looked fine. Why would it be fine when digger running but leak when stop digger

That is weird, but I think the pressure is pushing the the oring into a sealing position. When the pressure subsides, the oring returns to a different state and oil leaks by. Perhaps you are missing the Teflon backup ring, #6.
