Dang hydro filter mount - CK30HST

Drat, bad news again. The filter mount is... backordered 2-3 weeks. Seems that everytime I need a critical part that the whole rest of the Kioti world needs the same part and Kioti runs out of them.

So do any of you fine dealers happen to have the part on your shelf? I'm dead in the water and would be happy to pay shipping. It is the mount for the vertical grey filter that sets under the machine.

On the bright side, I got a couple of other parts right away like a blinker lense and a small wiring harness pigtail from under the rear fender.

Didn't RedRocker make a guard for his hydro filter? If not him, then someone here on TBN did and I think they posted photos (that or my mind is totally screwed up, but honestly I think someone posted photos of a guard). Might want to search the archives and save yourself some grief in the future.

I was looking at the subframe backhoe mounts this afternoon and the woods model sure goes a long way towards protecting this vulnerable filter. If nothing else it will provide a substantial frame to mount a bellypan.

My main purpose of this thread is to ask if any dealers have one on the shelf. It might be too much to ask publicly and maybe I should contact the dealer's across the country that I remember.

Thanks folks, I ordered one from Jon's shop this morning. I tried to catch you Jon but you had stepped out. On the shelf and in the mail today beats the heck out of backordered for 2-3 weeks.

I don't know how your experiences are but those 2-3 weeks can really stretch out and even an honest 2-3 weeks feels like forever during prime working season, dry enough to not compact soils or sink in the mud but wet enough to keep the dust down and the operator from overheating.

I'll post a few pics of the repair when the part arrives.

I did a belly pan to try and avoid doing that.

I can sympathize with you about the down time. Last year my CK30 was in the shop for 8-9 weeks because a synchronizer went in it. I had also torn off the pig tail in some brush a couple of months after I got the tractor and ordered a replacement. That was over a year and a half ago, still don't have it!! I don't go on the road often so it hasn't been a big deal. I may have to look up the parts number again and send a PM to Jon.

RedRocker's belly pan sure does look like it would protect just about everything. I have a Kioti BH that uses the holes in the fel mount that you bolted the belly pan to so that leaves that option out for me. It would take longer to remove than it takes to attach the BH although having the entire underneath protected would be nice.
With the BH mounted, there is only about an inch of space between the BH frame mount and the filter. I'm going to work on a cage for the filter to give it some protection. But my first job is to finish the bathroom remodeling that the wife wanted. I'l be done in a week and can get back to my work.
