^^ Battery isn't original though obviously. Who replaced that? If it was a shop, could they have added it? If you, didn't you notice the cable before now?

I had an OBS stroker that had an extra ground wire on that battery as well, they came from the factory that way.. International put it on there for Ford to use but they never used it..
*gasp* not an original battery? Truck's only 22! Gosh, batteries are terrible these days! This is probably my 6th battery on the truck... three pairs.
I wouldn't pay a shop to replace a battery... if I did, I'd probably pay someone to do the work I got a tractor for, and I wouldn't be here
I've seen the cable before, but never pulled on it to see where it was connected.
Didn't care.
It was only when I moved the cable end completely out of the way of some work that it pulled up far enough, in broad daylight, to see that the other end was just dangling.

I was replacing the battery and said to myself what the heck is this, I asked them at the Ford garage and they told me several thousand International engines came through with them..
