I just purchased off craigslist a Danuser HS-72 hydraulic scraper for $500 It has never been used, Just sat in a machine shed. Does any one out there have one of these? And is it as good as a box blade? Also will my JD 3320 handle it's weight when full of dirt? Thanks.

A 6' box blade is at the upper limit of what a 3320 will handle. Im sure flat ground will be no problem but once you extend the rippers and add an incline its gonna tax it good.

Is this a wheeled scraper? Or conventional box scraper with hydraulic scarifiers?

Is this what it looks like? Hopefully less abused.

That looks like it does the same function as a wheeled scraper (dirt pan).

It lets you carry the dirt to the destination instead of having to drag it. The greater the distance, the greater the advantage over a regular box blade.
