I just went to use my X3135h yesterday and discovered that pack rats had chewed through the wires to the DPF sensor, so I can't start it. Of course the little pissants left me about an inch of stub where the wires go into the main part of the harness, just enough to splice to. I'll need to add some wire to make the connection to the rest of the wires to the sensor. Does anyone know what gauge they are? I can't find a wiring diagram for it.
Thanks

I went through a similar repair after rabbits sliced about 5 wires in my van in a location I could only reach with one hand and see with a flash light. I somehow managed to so strip the 5 numbs, and solder them back together 1 by 1 without cutting my throat. Next day I got 2 outside cats and lived happily ever after ;)
Most control wire is 18-20 gauge primary automotive wire. Hang in there and get those cats soon!

How do your outdoor cats escape predators? Every one I had succumbed to owls, hawks, and coyotes.

My cat's share the barn with the horses for some protection and reproduce at about the same rate that they disappear.

Mine are recycled feral cats from the Humane Society. Not pets. You can't touch them, one I rarely even see. One comes to feed most mornings. They live mostly in the barns up high or under the container. I feed and water them.
I try to remember to close the heavy barn doors all but 4", the width of my fist. I figure a cat could pass thru there at 30 mph but not a coyote or an owl. Been good going on our 4th year with our rescues. If and when they succumb I'll get new ones.
As explained to me these cats have no future, no chance but a home like this. They have been trapped, removed from some unwanted home, spayed, vaccinated, and chipped. 50% of the cats I accepted left after the 6-8 week caged introduction to their new home. I took 4 to get 2. A cat box with bedding in a safe place with food and water is all they need in return for keeping the place rodent free.
