David Brown Hay Trailer

I just purchased a David Brown hay trailer frame and it looks like a nice project but I can't find any info on it. it's not really a problem but if any of you folks could fill me in on them that would be great. it is about 6' wide and 10' to 12' feet long, it's adjustable. I want to make a parade wagon out of it so any info would be really appreciated.

David Brown is an engineering and manufacturing firm in England. David Brown originated the Aston Martin sports car. David Brown used to make Ferguson tractors.

they certainly do pivot. Thats what separates the men from the boys when it is backed. They are called running gears. They can be equipped with a flat deck and used to haul hay as the OP refered and they can be made so sides can be added and used to haul grain also. They could be used to hold a gravity box to haul grain or any other loose materials. They also can be used as parade trailers as the OP stated. Oh, the memories of the old high school home coming floats and the fun building them.

I have been moving it around with my Zero Turn mower, now that is a challenge. I can back it ok, but I will try to not get myself into a spot where I need to. I cleaned the old label off today and it is a David Brown hay trailer, Distributed by Sears Roebuck. it is a really sturdy frame with I beam cross members. all adjustable. Other than a rusty surface, it is in really great shape. I am getting excited on the rework of it.
