Deal is Done! B3030 arrived Saturday.

Thanks to all who weighed in on my earlier posts with questions about a 72" RFM behind a B3030. After listening to the advice, I think I got the combination that is right for me. Saturday the dealer delivered a Kubota B3030 with FEL and Woods RD72 RFM and Woods 60" tiller.

My neighbor had plowed a garden for me a couple of weeks earlier and the large chunks of sod were no match for the tiller. I did a little FEL work on a dirt pile and then dropped the loader off and the real test was yet to come...

How will this tractor do with the 72" RFM when in the raised position? I had tried one at the dealer and the front wheels just touched the ground part of the time. Well, with the ballast in the rear tires, the FEL frame only on the tractor and with 3 55# suitcase weights on the front, it did great! And it mows like a dream. I can't get over the ease of the power steering...makes my new Nissan Pathfinder drive like a truck.

Congrats on the new toy. I took delivery of my B3030 on August 26, 2005 and could not be more pleased with it. You are right on about the power steering. It is the best on any machine or vehicle I have ever driven. Looks like you got it made now. Nice tractor, nice view and a nice looking dog. Have fun!

Making a lot of people jealous of your view there...me included!! I just had my B3030 delivered in late February...couldn't be more pleased.

Can't say the same for my wife though! Oh, she likes the tractor fine. It seems her cell phone has been programmed to ring with the tune of "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy" by Country Artist Kenny Chesney when she receives a call from me. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif As a bonus, when she looks at the phone she sees a picture of me sitting on my Kubota. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Being a bit challenged when it comes to technology, she has not been successful in getting that darn ring tone or picture off her phone! Meanwhile I'm having fun with both my tractor and my cell phone!!
