I know there might be a old post like this but haven't seen one in a while and i do allot of trading and buying and selling.

Picked this up yesterday across the street from a job that i was working At. The whole truck load-push mower homelite/jacobson big garden tractor with old rusted out deck (looks great as runs the same) aluminum ramps that need work, and 2 nice axes all for $270
What's your deal of the day??

Looks pretty good. Don't ever buy a Homelite saw though. Let's see, I only bought diesel and eggs today...... Diesel $2.65 gal. Eggs the usual price from the guy up the road (cage free) $3 doz. Is that a good price? They're nice, large eggs. That's my deal of the day. Buy local, pay cash or better still barter.

I got diesel the same day for $2.49. And it's been running $2.79 that's good for fresh eggs around here

Sounds right to me. Around here, the taller the gas station sign, the cheaper the diesel. The backroad stores are still $3/gal.
The eggs sound about right too. We sell ours for $3 a dozen if I provide the carton. If you bring the cartons, $2.50.

See, that's the beauty of driving a truck. Whatever, whenever... I use the heck out of mine too. Looks like a great deal to me. I try to keep a little stash of cash for these type of deals, but it's hard while raising 3 daughters. :laughing:

Know that feeling. I work with my dad in our family business. There's me and my brother and sister and then in the school time my twin comes back from my mom house.

I always try to keep a little cash but usually end up with more stuff or parts for my truck

I just picked up a used motorhome from an individual with NADA value of over $25,000 for $18,500. I guess you could call that a bargain for both parties. He was glad to be shed of it since he hadn't used it for quite a while. I actually got it for $500 less than he owed on it.

I love those old Farmalls. Just something about the shape and lines of them... Those extra tall back wheels and big spokes just do it.

I agree with you. I hate that they don't have 3pt or extra hydraulics. But they are so simple too add that onto. Haven't picked it up but told it just needs carb cleaned and the float is sticking
