I've been looking to replace my already sold & underpowered Kubota B7800, and was completely committed to repurchasing Kubota until I discovered things like seats that swivel, super steer, loader control locations, tilt steering, etc... . Now that I've made it past the "only one brand will do" stage :)rolleyes: ), I've fallen in love (lust maybe..)w/ NH Boomers.

I have found one in my local market that is a 2003 (I think) TC45DA w/ QA HD bucket for the loader, ssteer, and 340 hours. The price he is asking is $19900...but I'm thinking $18K.

Good value?

Thanks

Looking around online, I've found a wide range in pricing for that setup, anywhere from $16900 for a 2005 with 491 hours, loader and supersteer, $20950 for a 2003 with standard steer, loader, and 892 hours, a 2006 with Supersteer and loader with 125 hours for $22950, and a 2004 with std. steer, loader and 40 hours for $29500. Overall, probably not a bad price, but I'm amazed at the range in pricing I found. All were hydro as well.

Forgot to mention that this is HST too.

Robert, you actually "said" it was HST when you gave the model as TC45DA. The "D" in DA says it is HST.

That tractor sold new for probably close to $24,000, maybe more. If it looks to have been maintained well and not abused, that price of $19,900 is a very good one. By all means, make your best deal, but you will not be overpaying if you pay the asking price for that tractor.

Look at the battery area for batter acid leak damage. If you find any, that would be a good starting place to do some downward negotiating. Good luck with your dealing...

If it is well maintained, go for it. Very nice machine. Even better idea, see if the dealer will let you demo it on your property for a few hours. Also, you can also get a powertrain warranty for an extra 1-2 years (ask cost).

You are sooooooooooo right about the ergonomics of a NH. Very nice when compared to some other models.

I agree to go for it at 19,900 if you have to. You won't regret it.
Any better deal is a bonus.

Sounds to me like a good deal on a great tractor. Hard to go wrong there.
