Dealer Called...Tractor is in...Will be delivered Friday!!!!!

Well my dealer called today and said my J2030H is in! The last two weeks have been killing me! He said to give him a call Friday morning and he'll bring it out. He was having the beet juice put in this afternoon and finishing up prepping it. I almost drove there after work today just to check it out. The only bad thing is he said that my rotary cutter is still five to six days out. Not a big deal I guess, as our weather has not been conducive to mowing or brush cutting.

I would like to get a service manual for it and I'm wondering what other people have paid for them. I found a set on flea bay for $250 shipped. Seems a little steep to me, but maybe that's what they go for. Any help you guys can give would be great!

I ended up with FEL, MMM, 48" rotary cutter, and last weekend I picked up a 60" rear blade. I'll be sure to post some pics by the weekend.

Congratulations. Regarding the Service Manual, why not ask your dealer for a reduced price? The parts department can order one. Just tell your dealer that you are planning to buy more implements from him in the future. Just a thought.

My dealer said the W/S manual for mine was $110 and the Parts manual was $55.

If I recall correctly my manual was 65. It was not as detailed as I expected - loose leaf in a three ring binder. After reading through it I assumed the dealer actually had a better manual. Next time I was at the dealer he allowed me to look through their copy of the repair manual. Sure enough it was the same. All the necessary data, torque specs and details needed are in there, just assumes you are already familiar with a lot of the assembly details.

Well it showed up at 10:00 A.M. I got to play with it a little bit today. Ended up taking the loader off and did some selective mowing. Our weather has been terrible the last few weeks. The yard is like a soaking wet sponge. We have had rain steady with a day break here and there. Not enough to dry anything out. Everything went great! It will be slow going for the first couple of mowing's I think. It's a lot bigger machine than my John Deere LT180!

Anyway, enough babbling. How about some pics!!!
