I saw this web site: Ferguson Tractor Co. looked at what he had on line and decided to go take a look. Not as many tractors there as on his site, but he did have a really good selection. These are not recon tractors but instead really good used tractors. I don't mean "used up". Most had around 500-800 hours average. Nice, straight talking, no BS, no pressure man. And within 50 miles of my house. Yanmar 2000, clean as a pen, $3400.00.. I think I will offer him $3000.00. So any of you Easterners that are looking for a dealer, try him out. Now my Question: Can I find replacement tires for the rice tires?? Size is 9.5 (9-24)...

If you go to the Dealership, see how he is stocked for spare parts.
I have a YM1700 and would be nice to know someone who had parts close by.
I really don't consider Emporia, Va. local to me, but it is at least within an hours drive.

Have you asked the dealer if he can supply tires other than the rice tires ? If he is close, that might be your best bet as shipping might be expensive

I said something about the tires when I was talking to him, but he didn't say anything about any other tires. I figured if they had some he would have said. I will probably get the tractor. But I will need to get tires and try to widen the back tires....

I assume you are talking about Reggie Ferguson. Didn't know he was still in business. Good guy! Bought my tractor from him in 99. Get a warrantee! He will stand by it!

He was a big time importer a few years back.

Well he still is evidently. He had a good selection of tractors and a good selection of the Japanese mini trucks, some with dump beds. Too bad we can't drive them on the road.. 50 MPG...
