He sells the ones that are originally parts tractors that they buy in vietnam, put back togeather then ship them here to the US with unkown levels of refurbishing? They have paint some new engines stuff etc. Some like MJ in poland have had good success with his others not so much Winston here has had a good bit of initial trouble with his recon but now seems to be sorted out. I made a half educated decision and bought one but not from him. I luckily had not had any major problems, did have some leaky hoses that i fixed and a bad voltage regulator that they replaced under warenty and i ahd a bad lift valve so they swapped 3pt top assemblies with another tractor. Oh cant forget the bad radiators that they all seem to have once they gave me about 2 leaky ones they finally gave me a brand new one. To me thats all small stuff others think other wise.
The big problem with the VN dealers is quality control. Some have zero issues some are nothing but trouble and some inbetween. Also some of the smaller ones dont work on stuff which is hard to get support when the stuff cant be fixed by them. My dealer has a shop and treated me right when i needed the repairs and worked with me. They are really just business men to.
Would i buy another recon, probably not, there are so many used ones that are probably original units for 1000 less or so than you buy the recon for. But like me i considered that they are still used and with them i have what i have no support at least the way i went i got some replacement parts where other wise id be out the money for the parts if i had to buy them.
