Dealer Overfilled Transmission Case and Engine CC

I recently purchased a lightly used B7510DT that had just had the 50 hr service performed at the dealer's . They overfilled both the transmission and the crankcase. The transmission fluid registers a full inch above the top mark on the dipstick.

The gear drive model takes 1/2 gallon less than the HST and I think they failed to take that into account. What is the best way for me to drain off the excess UDT fluid? How about the excess engine oil?

Its probably fine, its okay to overfill those by a small margin. If its too much fluid for the trans it will just blow it out the breather, nothing to worry about.

Thank you for the reply. I put the loader to moderate use for 1.5 hours on a pile of dirt and found it to jerk quite a bit. Don't know if the excess fluid can affect performance before being blown out the breather or not, but I thought it might be worth the effort to take some out.

doubtful, its probably the viscosity your noticing. Its normal for things to feel different after an oil change.

Consider yourself lucky you got some bonus oil!! I little extra won't hurt. I'd leave it.
