I have posted in a couple different area's, about my fuel tank, the bolt in the pump and the tires.

Anyway, my Montana dealer sent me a check to cover my expenses!

Titan has shipped the new tires to a local shop who will be bringing the farm service truck out after the holidays to replace them. All is well!

Titan is the best as far as our dealings go with them. Sounds like the dealer is also trying to take care of you as well. All sounds good.

Maka, Thank you! If you recall you provided some very good advise via PM's!
It has taken sometime for Titan ... I just would always send a reminder email and they would follow up answering my concerns and today I recieved the email stating the tires were shipped on the 13th, I contacted The local tire shop he verified it and recommended we get it done after the holidays.

Your right about my dealer, he has taken care and satisfied me. The more I use this tractor the more I like it!

Glad to hear that you have a good dealer. Dealers sure can make everything well again :)

Unfortunately, mine isn't one of them :( Next time I think I will find a dealer first and figure out which tractor he sells will work for me.

Glad all is working out for you. A sale that isn't from a local dealer can always have a few snags and it seems that the dealer you bought from is trying his best. It's also understandable why the local dealer isn't jumping at the chance to help you. A lot of folks don't understand that performing warranty work is a financial loss for a dealership. On an hour job that takes 1/2 hour of paperwork, you'll be lucky to be paid 1/2 hour of labor at a rate lower than any posted shop rate I have ever seen and that is fine for the selling dealer because they made some profit to help cover this loss. You local guy is likely looking at this as a tractor sale that he lost because of a low balling dealer and it's hard to expect him to smile and welcome your troubles.

I only post this because you had said in an earlier thread that your local dealer had the attitude that he didn't sell it so it isn't his problem and I wanted to point out why he might feel that way. He could be the best dealer in the world to those that bought tractors from him as far as service after the sale.

Thats what I thought about my dealer at first ... then when I realised I was not his only customer and changed attitude all worked better!

Thank you Ken, you are absolutly right. After I have realised all of this I have become more diplomatic and am finding the results to be rewarding. Not that I was ugly in the beginning, just frustrated and too demanding!!

Ken in reply to ...

"A sale that isn't from a local dealer can always have a few snags and it seems that the dealer you bought from is trying his best."

Once I settled down and asked for a reasonable solution my selling dealer took care of me.

Thank you!
