2009 Kubota M6040
I had a unique situation happen to my 2009 Kubota M6040. The fuel return line from the fuel pump back to the fuel tank disconnected at the check valve. There is a small check valve in the middle of a rubber hose about a foot long. It was determined that the chintzy wire band clamps simply were no longer strong enough to hold the hose tight. The dealer sent out his head mechanic (50 mile round trip) and he put on new hose, new check valve and crimp type hose clamps.

Kind of a helpless feeling - about $2.50 worth of parts stopped a $30,000 tractor. The dealer did the entire job - parts, labor & service call - free of charge.

A good dealer is hard to beat. Of course, I've been buying tractors, implements and parts from this dealer for the last 35+ years.

Your dealership's reputation just 'shot up' just a wee bit more and you won't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. That's as it should be.

It's why I deal with my JD dealership in my area (well, island really) and, indeed, why I bought from them in the first pace. Their reputation... and they haven't let me down since I purchased (even dyed-in-the-wool CASE owners say that my local JD dealership is bloody good).

A great, supportive, dealership = a good nights sleep.

This dealership was started, long ago, by a farming family and to this day they have successfully resisted takeover by the corporate parent. I strongly feel that their background is the basis for this great dealership. They are just good, honest people. And, yes, I sleep a lot better knowing they are covering my six.

It's always good to hear a dealer step up and go the extra mile for a customer. I had a problem with one of the safety switches on my BX-25. The tractor would intermittently start at times. I trailered the tractor to my dealership. A mechanic stepped up on the trailer in the yard, fiddled with the switch using a screwdriver, and no more problem--and no charge as well.

Always good to read/hear about service department going the extra mile..helps ALOT when purchasing next time.

Like old saying goes...parts don't cost much it the down time that cost.

I bought my very first tractor from this dealership in 1982. When I decided to upgrade to a larger unit in 2009 - there never was any doubt in my mind who I was going to buy from. And in all those years there has only been this one time I've ever needed dealer service. Its the knowing that they are always there that adds so much to ownership and peace of mind.
