I had a unique situation happen to my 2009 Kubota M6040. The fuel return line from the fuel pump back to the fuel tank disconnected at the check valve. There is a small check valve in the middle of a rubber hose about a foot long. It was determined that the chintzy wire band clamps simply were no longer strong enough to hold the hose tight. The dealer sent out his head mechanic (50 mile round trip) and he put on new hose, new check valve and crimp type hose clamps.
Kind of a helpless feeling - about $2.50 worth of parts stopped a $30,000 tractor. The dealer did the entire job - parts, labor & service call - free of charge.
A good dealer is hard to beat. Of course, I've been buying tractors, implements and parts from this dealer for the last 35+ years.
