Dealer wants $900 for box scraper BB2060

I don't know about the box scraper, but I know prices vary widely. I had the feed store quote me $595 for a hay spear! I went to the mahindra dealer and got one for $180 and I consider that $55 or $60 too much. The feed store model was a little more substantial, but it looked like it was used, all beat up and rusting. The mahindra dealer version is rated at 2000 lbs and has a nice coat of paint.

That's pretty high, I believe WOODS makes the box blades and paid $750 for my 65" unit. I've been very pleased with mine but wouldn't have paid that for it.

I have a nice orange bb for the moment - once the orange is looking pretty tired, I'll give it a coat of JD green. It was only $700 for a 72".

Hmm, well 2 years ago I bought the same box blade, which I love btw. However, my primary JD dealer wanted $850 and a competing dealer had it for $750, so I of course bought it there. So, shop around for sure. I will tell you though that I have abused my box blade over the 2 years and other than scuff marks in the paint, it hasn't bent, warped, chipped or other. So, while others might be cheaper, make sure you are truly comparing apples to apples before you buy.
Thanks for all the comments. I did call 2 other dealers in the area and the both could order the BB2060 for over $1000, so I will not be getting that. I prob will go with the united 60"HD from everything attachments for $500, once I verify that they will ship it to my freight terminal for free with no sales tax.Thanks again Joe

I found a used one on Craigslist for $350, and he delivered it to my house!
