Contact the factory and deal direct with them. I doubt they'll be any more trouble than most of the exporters I've heard about.

If you have a Jinma dealer within shipping distance, (perhaps elsewhere in Oz?) you'd be ahead of the game to deal with them. Unless you speak Chinese and know your way around importing from China you're going to be up against a series of problems that the dealers have already conquered - why re-invent the wheel, in other words?

Agreed. Buy a machine that's already in-country.

I must have been very lucky when I bought my DF254G2 directly from factory in China. The chinese sales manager for Euro area whom I dealt with was very good in English. Even the third party shipping agent was good In english and very helpfull, he had contact with the Chinese sales man regarding paper work etc, took photos on my goods and engine plate when they were In harbor in a container, for proof before I did the down payment. Had absolutely no problem at all.

I did not try to re-invent the wheel but the saving in money i did from direct import made me do it. I can say that i got the Front end loader and Tiller for free even after the custom fees, VAT+25%, shipping from Swedish harbor to my place etc etc.

Jettyhouse: Note that i bought directly from factory and dealt with there own salesman. I have no experience with the third party exporters/brokers.

I think this is the Jinma site > http://www.jm-tractor.com/en/index.asp

As You wonï½´t visit China Yourself, I would state that it is impossible.

The related sites Made-in-China.com China manufacturer directory, China products, China suppliers, China trade, China factory , Alibaba Manufacturer Directory - Suppliers, Manufacturers, Exporters & Importers , and Manufacturers: Global Sources are listing 100rds of companies, which are telling that are manufacturers, but my opinion is, that ther only are 5...maybe 10 real manufacturers. all the others are traders/delaers.

We have purchased a Xingtai tractor, by a dealer, which made the deal directly with XT-tractor works. ÐĮ̈µÚÒ»ÍÏÀ»úÖÆÔìÓÐÏÞ¹«Ë¾£¡£¡£¡»¶ÓÄú£¡--ÍÏÀ»ú¼°ÅäÌ×Å©¾ß£¡

Hey Jettyhouse,

i ordered a Jinma and some inplements direct from China last year.
The Dealer, i have made the order was the Yangcheng Foreign Trade Corp LTD. Mr. David Liu.
I don't have any problems all the time and all went well.
I have buy CIF to Hamburg Port but if i will order one more time i will buy FOB and look for a good local Transportation Office that take on the Shipping .

Best Regards

Matthew aka Flick from Tasmania was pretty active in the forums until a couple of years ago. He had purchased a Dong Feng from Eastwind Australia and related a generally positive experience.

Here is one of his threads. I think you will have to join the forum to view it.
