Just got a 2 way plow and I'm pretty excited to try it out. Not sure how well it works but it looks like a work of art to me. Got it from an old timer who took good care if it. Anyway I just wanted to show it off. If anyone has some knowledge on it and feels like passing it on that would be great.

Can't see the other side but does it match the pictured side? If so, the plow may be more of a ditcher.

We have similar ones in CA to dig watering ditches around field of corn, alfalfa, and the like. Except they come to a point in front.

Maybe Ken Sweet from Sweettractors has seen one before.

Thanks guys. I think I'm only missing the wrench that came with it..I'm just happy this thing didn't end up a lawn ornament in front of someone's subdivision home. I plan on getting this hooked up soon and putting it to work.

What do you plan on using this plow for? Do you have trenching to do?

A 2 way plow is Not suited for trenching, it is designed to allow plowing in Both directions.
I suppose You could 'trench' with any single bottom moldboard plow, but it is Not going to do a very good job, there are better designed plows for that particular job...

Ok then I totally don't know what that plow will do because it looks like it throws the dirt two ways and leaves an empty spot it the center. :confused3:

Oh never mind I just looked at that link. I can say I have never seen one like that before!

No trenching to do. I just have some old fields I want to plow and turnover and then disc cultivate they are just overgrown and not very productive for me the way they are. I think I heard someone say you could leave both blades down and make a trench pretty easily though. The plows on it are pretty big not sure the photo does it justice. I think they are 16"

It would be great for plowing small gardens. Leaving a dead or live furrow in the middle of a garden with a regular plow is frustrating.
