Yep thats a a King Kutter for ya Our 7 footer at work looks like that after I snagged a hidden 3inch stump with it. They re good blades just the lower hitch arms need to be thicker and i built a few extra top braces to keep on hand. On the 7 foot model i dont like the 3/8 plate the lower lift pins use. We have a 4000 FOrd at the lanfill dad an i manage and usie it for all the grade work thats too small or too far to walk the dozer or too mall for the scraper. We keep tha area around the landfill in a parklike state to impress the EPA and the nieghbors. I admid i was in a bad place with the Blad and just missed a stump. But i do need to fix the arms like dads Atlas with the 3/4 inch plate for the lift arms. Your blade is saveable.

Might need a torch to get them hot before bending. It might be easier to start over with a new upper frame. I would suggest you weld some stiffbacks to the middles of the flat stock. My JD blade (I dunno who really makes it) has these and it will stop the tractor when hung.

What I find interesting in your photos is the color of the KK XB boxblade - black. The one I saw for sale at Orscheln Farm & Home was more of a red orange color. Looks like KK is painting their XB box blades more than one color. I thought about buying a KK XB boxblade but went with a taller, sturdier boxblade built by Midwest.

How old is the boxblade? Might be a good time to see if King Kutter's warranty holds up any better than their product
The blade is 1 day old, however, there isn't a warranty claim here. I was back blading without taking proper precautions and caught a really big rock. I was surprised that it was moving the rock and didn't realize before it was way too late that the only thing that was moving was the upper support arms of the blade. Much better that they move than my 3 point links...
