Debris blower

Has anyone ever used pto driven debris blower. I have used the smaller push blowers. A local golf course has on for sale.It is an older jacobson. What did you use it for other than leaves. I don't realy need it I just want it.

Never seen them used as anything else but blowing seasonal debris from the ground, I was thinking about making a leaf vac out of my walk behind, you could probably do the same, take off the squirrel cage, make an adaptor plate with a suction hose in front and a discharge pipe at the outlet.
might work with that one.
Don't know if farmers do it here but when I was in Poland visiting the in laws they used blowers like that to blow hay up into the loft of the barns, they would pile it high on wagons and pitch it off into the blower opening up thru a 12-14" dia. tube to the loft, pretty effective.

I've seen them used to blow snow too. Seemed to work well.

I have 2 of them 1 Agri metal and 1 Goosen. They are great for leaves, but make sure you have lots of them . My Goosen puts out over 7000 cfm , it will blow leaves several feet thick.

My brother has one made from a silo blower. Actually has it on a Oliver 1555 right now. He adapted a 3ph and direct pto. Shouldn't cost much to do that.

There are some turbine blowers out there that are real pricey. I do have a lot of leaves in the fall . It just depends on which way the wind is blowing when they fall whether they end up in the yard or in the woods. I think whith a blower like this I would be done in a hour or two insted of a day or two.

How much is the Golf Course asking for the Jac. Blower? I have one to sell and was curious what value was. I was asking $ 600 for mine.
