Reading about MarkC's Pro-Ears and the benefits he has seen(heard) has raised the question of whether the Pro-Ears would be an advantage when operating the Boomer series tractor.
Does anyone know the decibel level of the TC40D or ClassIII Boomers on the operator's platform. The Pro-Ears keeps noises below the 70db level and am just wondering how much above that level the ClassIII Boomers are.
Back in the late 80s I worked in a noisy climate controlled computer room and lost some ability to distinguish mid-range frequencies. Don't want to risk losing more because of seat time. Don't mind the cost of the Pro-Ears, just as long as they will make a difference.
