Deere 1050 - need hydraulic repair info

My 1050 is experiencing hydraulic problems and I need some advice. Currently at a Deere repair center but they are having trouble sourcing original parts. If they cannot source oriiginal parts they will not use aftermarket parts. If it gets to that point I am bringing it home and then looking for someone local to work on it.
They mentioned the SCV valve needs replaced. Why would they not just rebiuld it? I see people online offering to rebiuld these valves.
I am venting a bit but in the end looking to see if anyone on this forum is familiar with this tractor and the hydraulics as I may need to ask some questions if the service center hits a dead end.

The JD 1050 was build from tires up by Yanmar if Japan to JD specs.
There is a Yanmar section on this forum. Use the Classics section for your questions.
Also if you get it back unrepaired, contact Hoyes Tractor for parts. Aaron is often on the Yanmar section if this forum and is a great resource as are others that are on that section of the forum.
