Deere 4100 Mid Mower Deck

I have a '00 Deere 4100 with the 60 inch mid mower deck and the gear box has failed. OEM replacement part AM143311 is ~$800.00. I'd like to rebuild the box if possible since I think JD's costs for this stuff is beyond silly. Here's my dilemma; JD does not have a exploded view of all the gearbox parts - they sell as a sealed unit.

Anyone know of a place that can rebuild this, or has the exploded diagram so I can source parts on my own?
