Deere 4410
My 2003 model 4410 has just under 1400 hours on it and has never given me a problem until recently. When mowing at full operating speed and after it has been running for 45 minutes or so, it will stop dead and the indicator lamp on the Ehydro will emit 3 long flashes. Sometimes the engine will lose RPM and stall after the tractor stops but will restart easily although sometimes it stalls 2-3 times in a row. Would anybody have an idea of what the issue is? The closest dealership is about an hour's drive away and I am hoping the issue is one I can fix myself. The hydro system fluid level is just fine and was last changed (with new filters installed) at 1000 operating hours. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you. Please excuse the error I made in the model number in the title, I hit the wrong key.

If me, I'd look at getting the service tech manual for your tractor. Being as the dealer is "far away", having the tech manual would/should be a big help to you.
Others with ehydro experience likely be along shortly for some better advice.

I am sincerely sorry for the late response and greatly appreciate you kind offer. We have been away from home the past week and a half. helping the kid and grandkids move and get settled in. Bless you for your kindness !! Will PM you with my email address.

I recently had a hydro issue on my 4610 recently that was presumably caused by old filters, then a followup issue with air in the hydro system. I'm not certain how (if at all) that could relate to your stalling issue, but if it's due for hydraulic filter changing, it's not just a costly troubleshooting step.

More valuable though, my service guy told me to take note of any flashes of that error lamp. He said to count the short and long flashes, as those counts correspond to specific errors. I would guess that the service manual has the explanation of the codes.

You are correct on that issue. I always get the same code for errors and once my horribly slow DSL finally downloads the manual joecdeere offered to send me I will check for a solution. THANK YOU, joecdeere !!! It was very considerate and thoughtful of you to make that offer to me !!!
