Hey Ya'll,
Just a Quick update. I put the charge pump back on( not near as big of a pain as I thought.) I cranked her up and gues what my lift work as well as my power steering for a little bit. Prior to this they hadn't been. I have taken the deck off to access the drive shaft so I couldn't check the Pto. I also went back and forth a couple of times. Then everything was back to normal. I shut her down and then disconnected the hose that goes to the power steering and capped it off with my finger. Found very little flow should have 3.5 gpm. However with the power steering and the lift working a for a minute I must have had flow for a period of time. I am now thinking my charge pump is pumping ok. but the fluid is being diverted. There are a few readily accessable things. I checked the implement relief valve and it seemed ok. I took out the pressure test plug that is some sort of you know what fitting. and cranked her. I have plenty of pressure and flow there. not to mention hydraulic fluid all over my mower and shop floor. Ok so now I have a pressure control valve. I check it and no problems I can see there crank it up and no difference. I then take out the lube control valve it looks ok too. I put it back in and guess what my lift goes up and down 1 time. and then every thing is bad again. I take it out and put it back in again. I try the power steering this time and it is good for 1 back and forth. So I think I have narrowed my problem to a valve sticking. however it had no moving parts just and orfice and spring pressure. I am now to research what could make it stick or just suck up 93 bucks and put a new one in. If anyone has a clue about this please let me know.
Thanks
