Clutch operated 5065 is hesitating when going in gear, and when it finally kicks in there is a bit of grinding and barely any power if going up a incline. Through the Texas wet season this year, I didn't run it much and when it finally dried up this began occurring. I have driven it some under low stress to clean off any rust on the clutch plates as well as changing the hydro filter and topping off fluid. My next thought is to look into adjusting the clutch. This is occurring in all gears, but most noticeable in my normal starting gear Range-B 2nd-gear.
Hydro filter was a bit dirty, but no metal particles.

Standard gear-drived 9 speed transmission with 4wd.
2013 model 5065e with about 400 hours.

Thank you for any advice.
Daniel.

More info is required to correctly answer your question. What type trans does this 5065E have?

Standard gear-drived transmission (not hydrostatic) with 4wd.
Thanks.

Does traction clutch operating pedal have any free travel? It's probably too late to save failure of clutch disk but clutch pedal needs 1'' to 1-1/2'' free travel

It has always felt fairly stiff since when I purchased new. So hopefully just a new clutch or would a clutch adjustment work assuming there is some meat left?

Giving clutch pedal free travel would be the 1st thing I would suggest doing. Clutch pedal free travel adjustment effectiveness will depend on amount of wear on clutch
