Snow DEERE 59" SNOW BLOWER

With Deere out with a new snow blower for the 2000 series, it would be nice to see a
replacement for the 59" 3000 series, say 65". What do you think?

Looked at the pricing for the 59" the other day. After adding the blower, the A-Frame hitch, the adapters, the mounting kits, the PTO kits etc etc the $$$$ was so large my little hand calc couldn't give me a total.

I'd hate to think what a 65" would cost.

I know! That's why I might wait till next year and see if they make one wider than the tractor.

I have the JD 59" snow blower on my 3720 with R4's and it works fine when going fairly straight -- snow cleared where wheels travel. But, when turning the tires will travel on uncleared snow. I agree a wider blower, say 65", would be much better. The setup is expensive but big discounts are possible, especially when purchased with the tractor as I did.

Sunnyside, will your 485 backhoe go on your 3720 cab tractor?

No. I only have the BH frame/mount and power beyond on the 4320. There may be a setup available for the 3720 -- don't know.

Ya, I thought that the JD dealer told me that the 485 hoe would not go on the 3000 series
if they had a cab. I was going to get the 366 front blade but then decided to get the snow
blower. Now I think maybe with the upgrade in the 2000 series blowers that they might do
the 3000 series next year. I learned that you want to get it right the first time, it's pretty
costly to make any changes later.

AFAIK, only the 375 BH will go on the Cab 3x20 series. The whole BH is moved back 8" - 12" so the BH seat does not contact the Cab glass. I have the 447 BH, which is essentially the same thing and the tractor seat needs to be almost full forward for the BH seat to be in the operating position.

The 485 BH will mount on either the 3x20 or 4x20 NON-Cab models.
