Mike/Bird,
Thank you for your thoughts and concerns. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
Bird,
The long distance portion of the company is what it is know for not what it's major business is anymore. /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif Somewhere between 65-70% of US Internet traffic is carried over WorldCom backbone circuits. Over 50% of the WORLDs email goes over WorldCom circuits. WorldCom bought out UUNET a couple three years ago and got that little gem. That is the unit I worked for. I have been seeing lots of very intelligent, capable people get laid of in the past year or so. These are the engineers and technicians who got the whole mess rolling. UUNET was an innovative company that always tried to keep the Internet backbone growing. Bigger, better, and faster. That's entreprunerial spirit has been broken.
No sour grapes... just sitting here shaking my head.... /w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif
