Deere answers to Kioti's free FEL deal

I was at my dealer today getting filters, trans. fluid, etc and noticed Deere(or maybe it was just my dealer doing this) is offering a FREE 542 fel with a 5603 at a price of $39,999!!! they're also offering a FREE fel with select 6030 and 7000 series tractors(included in this was the 6430). I honestly thought about going into serious debt this afternoon and siging the papers of a 5603 with a free fel.

acctually, this may seem weird, but I think the 5603 would be overkill on my land. shocking huh? I would just be very limited with it since alot of my land is mostly planted pines and hardwoods, with an 8 or 10 acre field here and there. now, when they clear cut the place in 10 or so years, THEN I will wish I had a 5603 or something similar. I also don't have a place to keep that size of a tractor(my pole barn is 8' 3" x 9').

at 40K the loader price has been figured in on the 5603...I am not saying it isn't a good deal because it is, but you aren't getting the loader "free". That being said the 0607 code on the 6x30 and 7x30 machines you do get a free loader with those, and Deere has discounted the machines enough that the loader is actually "free"...

seriously... no one is getter loaders for free. I can't believe people fall for this kinda stuff.

thanks for clearing that up! the reason it caught my attention was this same dealer was selling 5603's for $39,999(no FEL). now they have them at that same price but with a FEL. I have even seen prices, of just the tractor, for $40,000-$47,000. i never priced the 6x30 or 7x30 machines though, and that also caught my eye when I saw that.

just the 5603 tractor was recently selling for $39,999, no loader or anything. now they have that same price but with a loader. doesn't seem like I was "falling" for anything, just seemed like a good deal. heck, $39,999 for that tractor(no fel) is a pretty good price for what I've been seeing them being sold for!

maybe if our local Kubota dealer had offered a few more "deals" he wouldn't have had to go out of business this year

he wouldn't even come off the price any when he had his going out of business "sale"(I used quotes because the prices were the exact same as they'd always been, he just had the word 'sale' thrown in there)!
