Deere hunting. Got one.

I was able to be the winning bidder in a very well used 318 that I convinced the city to surplus. It was used by the school to maintain lawns and plow so the kids painted it the school colors, hence the blue. I wanted the cab and the tires. It has wheel weights as a bonus.
The whole tractor and parts need tlc but I only had to drive 2.5 miles to get it. Winning bid was $51. I did ok.

As long as it runs you did great. Did you also get the plow and mower deck?

It ran when they parked it but it has sat for years. I wanted it for the cab and tires mainly and may part out the rest. They threw in cement wheel weights and that extra pulley for the front pto that drives a snow blower which I have been searching for. I need new vinyl for sure.

It is a great deal but..... When I went to pay for it I found out that I was the only bidder. My original bid was going to be $1 but I chickened out and raised it to $51. It looks like I left $50 bucks on the table. Oh well.
