Who needs to spend money on tickets to go to the Circus... just find city workers and pull up a chair!!

(except anyone on this board who may be a city worker! but my little garden tractor couldn't do squat, so I'm sittin' and watchin'!)

Thanks for the pics and laughs!

Gee - the way the loader and bucket are curled under like that, it almost looks like the poor thing is sitting there with its tail between its legs.

Alls well that ends well. I hope the operator still has a job ...

Yeah, but you know what, Bill...

Seat time is seat time; wet or dry; smooth or rough; it's what's running under you that counts.

I'd bet the boys that made the mess are just as proud as the boys that fixed it, assuming that there are two crews working the site /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif.

Going to take more than a pressure washer to clean the track area..maybe a fire truck and a round pointed shovel..yikes.

Speaking of something bigger to get it out. My neighbor was setting telephone poles with a large truck that had the auger and pole setting equipment built onto it. You've probably seen them in your own area. They are quite large. While setting poles near a railroad track, they buried the truck in mud. Tires disappeared from site. It looked as though the truck was going to become part of the landscape when a train came by. There was just an engine and a few guys in it. They stopped just above the stuck truck, got out to do some repair work in virtually the same location these guys buried the truck. Brains started thinking and in short order a steel cable attached to the train and truck. The train took off and dragged the truck out like a rag doll. He mentioned the train never even knew it had a load.

Its amazing what over 2000hp, and a few dozen tons of weight will do./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif/w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif
